Children's Concert: The Story of the Sun

Talis Composer Alumnus Sunny Knable has written a piece inspired by Saas-Fee especially for our youngest audience. The children will be introduced to the work through a crafts project, in collaboration with Saastal Tourismus, before hearing the piece up close performed by our Talis musicians. "L'histoire du Soleil" is based on a story by Valentine Biollay.

From Classics to Contemporary

As every year, we start our evening program with works spanning the classical and contempory periods. So there will be something for every one! The concert will include pieces by Mozart, Schubert and a premiere by Festival composer Miguel del Aguila.

Music of the Americas

Works from North- and South America, including first time performances of pieces by our composition Fellows.

A Bohemian Evening

Pieces by Smetana, Dvorak, Janacek and Haas will transport you into the Bohemian world of the 19th century.

Impressions of France

Pieces by well known French composers such as Debussy will be performed together with premieres of works by our composition fellows, inspired by La Grande Nation.

Histoire du Tango

A tour of tango pieces written for classical instruments, from Piazzola, Albeniz our resident composer Miguel del Aguila, and others.
