Collaborate and learn in one of Europe's most historic and diverse cities.
Intensive chamber music program where young artists (Fellows) and professionals (Resident Artists) work together as peers. Chamber groups are coached by the Resident Artists to prepare performances before an audience. The Talis Academy is a performance program in which the participating Fellows are immersed in a musical environment where preparation to performance moves at a very fast pace. Designed to emulate professional situations, Academy Fellows prepare for high performance standards with minimal rehearsals.
All accepted Academy Fellows are eligible for scholarships.
Composers will be given the chance to work on their music while collaborating with professional musicians in an intensive chamber music program. The program includes a concert premiere of a piece, daily readings, private lessons and workshops with the Grammy nominated Talis Festival Guest Composer Miguel del Aguila. All accepted Academy Fellow Composers are eligible for scholarships.
